Educators need to be sensitive towards the needs of the child. We learn best when we work. What are the things we do to set ourselves up for success? All the things we surround ourselves with, a great cup of coffee or an up-tempo Spotify playlist play a part in how we work or learn. They’re all tied to the environment we choose to best prime ourselves for success. The same thing applies to a school or a classroom. Our goal is to create a positive classroom and school environment that will set our learners up for success. But there are a few challenges. How can we help students to feel safe, valued, and respected? What can we do to help set up the framework for a positive relationship to flourish?
