Sometime back, I had the privilege of attending a professional education program at Harvard. I was there to engage in discussions about ‘Mindfulness For Educators’ and the core theme of the session was to be mindful of your own mental and physical well-being. An educator's world is very stressful in terms of completing the syllabus, learning new content, implementing the latest in technology, assessing students and so much more. The stress of modern life affects everyone, more so educators today, since the pandemic changed how we approach education. It is critical to be mindful of mental and physical well-being; only then will one be able to fulfil their job responsibilities.
