Dr. Shilpa Kalyan is the Incharge Director of the Manipal Institute of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (MILHS), MAHE Bengaluru. A media educator with nearly two decades of experience, she founded MILHS and launched multiple humanities programmes. She received the UNESCO Top Scholar Award (2024) for her work on Trauma Literacy and leads South India initiatives for the global JETREG project.
