Let’s think about schools as BP and AP—schools Before the Pandemic and schools After the Pandemic. The majority of "BP" Urban Private Schools claimed to provide a well-rounded education but promoted themselves primarily through infrastructure, a competitive website, and school leaving exam results. "AP" schools are grappling with multiple conflicting demands and pandemic-induced changes in student behaviours and teacher stress. Gender, equity, and trauma have all taken on new urgency in the midst of all of this.
